Jarislowsky Fellowship Program

Stephen JarislowskyStephen Jarislowsky

Canadian investment expert and philanthropist Stephen A. Jarislowsky donated $1 million to create an endowment to fund the Jarislowsky Fellow in Business Management at the Haskayne School of Business. His gift grows out of his belief that by providing students access to professionals—and their real world successes and failures—the university will increase the depth and breadth of the learning experience.

The fellowship involves retired executives, from business and other sectors, who interact with students and faculty at the Haskayne School for terms ranging from a few days to a full semester or academic year.

The fellows offers career advice, provide guest lectures in classes, participate in the mentorship program and serve as ambassadors for the school.

Jarislowsky, Fraser and Company, is one of the largest and most successful investment management firms in Canada, managing assets of over C$62 billion by 2006. Jarislowsky is an Officer of the Order of Canada, a Knight of the National Order of Quebec, and holds Honorary Doctorates of Law from a growing list of Canadian universities.

The Haskayne School gratefully acknowledges this generous gift provided by the Jarislowsky Fraser Foundation.
