Bio

Jing Lu, a PhD student in Accounting. Jing has broad research interests in financial accounting, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development related topics. 

Jing holds a BEng in Software Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University, China and a MBA in Finance from Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. Jing was also a MBA visiting fellow in Sloan School of Business at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Now Jing is serving as the PhD cluster co-leader for the Canadian Business Ethics Research Network (CBERN) and a member of Transatlantic Doctoral Academy on CorporateResponsibility.

Jing is supervised by Dr. Irene Herremans, professor in the Accounting and Tourism areas.
