Bio

Mahdi is a PhD student in finance at the Haskayne School of Business. His research interests include corporate finance, system risk analysis, banking regulations and dynamical systems.

Mahdi has received several scholarships and awards for his academic work, including the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship and the Top-Up Student’s Award from the Institute for Quantum Information Science.

Mahdi holds an MSc in mathematical physics from the University of Calgary and a BSc in physics from the Sharif University of Technology, Iran.
