Amel Farhat

Amel Farhat is a PhD candidate in finance at the Haskayne School of Business. Her research interests are related to bubbles and crashes in financial markets.

She holds an MSc in Actuarial and financial sciences and a bachelor’s degree from the Institute Of Higher Commercial Studies. Both degrees were completed with high honours in Sousse, Tunisia. Since starting her PhD at  the Haskayne School of Business, Amel has received the AIMCO Graduate Scholarship in Finance (2011) and the Marion Janet & Ian Stormont Forbes Graduate Scholarships (2012/2013) for her excellent academic acumen.
