TedQual Stands for Tourism
Quality Education
The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has developed the UNWTO TedQual Certification System to help ensure the quality and efficiency of tourism education, training, and research programs around the world.
On March 22, 2005, the Haskayne School of Business BHRM Program was "TedQual Certified" by the United Nations World
Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in recognition of the programs quality. In addition, the school's PhD Program in Tourism Management is
now the first (to date) and the only PhD
program in the world to receive UNWTO certification.
