Tourism Management and Marketing (TRMK)

The Tourism and Marketing concentration allows students to blend knowledge about tourism, hospitality and marketing together.

The increasing economic significance and value of the tourism industry continues to open up new careers and provides exceptional opportunities for graduates.

What can I do with a Tourism Management & Marketing Concentration?

 

TRMK Concentration Courses

Students declaring a Tourism Management & Marketing Concentration must take the following 6 courses:

     
REQUIRED: TOUR 419  Tourism Marketing
  TOUR 449  Policy, Planning and Research in Tourism
  TOUR 4XX*  
  MKTG 465  Marketing Research
  MKTG 4XX  
  MKTG 4XX  

 *Except TOUR 409 which is not for credit in the BComm Program.

Students are advised to complete TOUR 309 (Introduction to Leisure, Tourism, and Society ) as this course is a prerequisite to the TOUR courses they will be taking in this concentration.
