An article honouring Ed Silver, Professor Emeritus at the Haskayne School of Business, has been published in Production and Operations Management – a prestigious business journal on the Financial Times 45 journal list. The article honours Ed for his extensive and outstanding contributions to the field of operations management. He’s been at the University of Calgary since 1981 and held the Carma Chair in Operations Management from1991 until his retirement as a full-time faculty member in 2002. Ed also held faculty positions at the University of Waterloo (1969-1981) and Boston University (1967-1969). Ed has published nearly 170 articles over his career.
