Our BComm degree is a four year program which students can enter in either first year or third year. Program details are available in the University of Calgary course calendar. BComm students can choose from one of 18 concentrations. You will complete live projects, formal presentations, group projects and various case studies during the course of your degree.
Bachelor of Hotel and Resort Management
This innovative program integrates the technical knowledge and practical experience of a two-year post-secondary diploma in Hospitality Management (or equivalent) with two years of University of Calgary studies. This unique combination gives students a solid foundation in leading-edge management principles, develops analytical and communication skills and offers global perspectives on the hospitality and tourism industry.
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
As a student in our MBA program, you can choose to take a generalized program or specialize in one of the following areas: Global Energy Management & Sustainable Development, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Finance, Marketing, or Project Management.
Executive MBA
The Alberta/Haskayne Executive MBA program ranked #28 out of 90 EMBA programs worldwide in the 2007 Financial Times (UK) Ranking of EMBA programs. The program is jointly sponsored by the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta and is designed for senior-level managers and up who wish to enhance their organizations' value in a climate of increased complexity and uncertainty in competitive environments.
PhD in Management
The Haskayne PhD program is customized to fit your needs through a flexible, innovative and student-oriented approach including the possibility of cross-disciplinary programs. This program will allow you to work with some of the best management scholars in the world, build your student support network and develop the research and teaching skills necessary to assume positions with major universities in Canada, the United States and around the world.
Global Energy Executive MBA
The Global Energy Executive MBA consists of five distinct learning modules each featuring intense 2- to 2.5-week residencies in five key energy centres around the world -- Calgary, Houston, London, Abu Dhabi and Beijing. Program duration is 16 months.
Master of Science degree in Sustainable Energy Development
The Interdisciplinary Master's Degree in Sustainable Energy Development is the only Program of its kind in North America offering an integrated, comprehensive education relating to sustainable energy development in the broadest sense. This Program is designed to provide a technical background while giving a balanced education with instruction in the areas of law, business, engineering and environmental design.
