Undergrad Research Symposium: Hosted by the Students' Union, the Undergraduate Research Symposium gives students an opportunity to showcase their research alongside other undergraduate researchers across campus.
This year's Undergrad Research Symposium will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2013. Applications will be accepted starting in September, 2013. There are several award opportunities available, as well as resources to help you develop your display.
PURE Awards (Program for Undergraduate Research Experience): From the Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic), PURE Awards provide students with an opportunity to be actively involved in creating new knowledge and applying existing knowledge in new ways, outside of the classroom.
Awards vary from eight, twelve, or sixteen week periods during the summer months and are worth from $3,000-$6,000, depending on the length of the commitment. Check the website for full details.
