For professional skill development projects:

There is a growing expectation by our stakeholders that HSB students are receiving training in professional ethics, including those associated with data collection. The ethics review process is one of the components of developing professional ethics within our student body.

A solid ethics review process enhances the reputation of the Haskayne School of Business and encourages the participation of organizations in the various data collection activities conducted by faculty and students.

For research projects:

All research projects fall under the domain of the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans.
