The need to celebrate ethical leaders hasn’t changed.
In fact, we feel it is more important than ever.
Crises shake us to our core and present unique challenges for the ethical leader.
To respond to these unprecedented times, the Haskayne School of Business, the Calgary Chamber and Calgary Foundation brought together an online summit of distinguished and high-profile leaders including Mac Van Wielingen, Alan Norris, Dawn Farrell, George Brookman, Marcos Lopez, Alison Sunstrum, Joanne Ciulla, PhD, David Dick, PhD, Robert Thirsk and Deborah Yedlin.
Taking place on June 17, 2020, this one-hour virtual media production packs a full-day of content into a highly engaging production featuring three panels that explored the role of ethical leadership in a crisis, in recovery and in transforming organizations for the future.
As the Distinguished Business Leaders Summit was free of charge, please consider contributing instead to the development of future ethical leaders in our community with a donation to the Distinguished Business Leader Award scholarship endowment. One hundred per cent of the money raised from the Distinguished Business Leaders Summit will support the scholarship.
Due to the measures in place to stop the spread of COVID-19, we postponed our annual Distinguished Business Leaders Award gala until 2021, but the need to celebrate ethical leaders hasn’t changed. In fact, we feel it is more important than ever.
