Banff Centre - Main Accommodation
The 2027 MSOM Conference and SIG Day will be held at the Banff Centre, which is nestled on the side of Tunnel Mountain and offers spectacular views of the Canadian Rockies. With just a few minutes’ drive from and within walking distance of downtown Banff, the Banff Centre is close to all of Banff’s exciting activities, shopping, and attractions.
Around 300 rooms at a discount rate will be available at the Banff Centre. More information about the reservation will be announced in Fall 2026.

Going to Banff
The closest airport to Banff is Calgary International Airport (YYC), which is located approximately 125 miles (145 km) east of the town. Most major airline carriers fly into Calgary. Visitors arriving with their own or rented vehicle are required to obtain a Park Pass to enter the National Park that the town of Banff resides in. Passes can be obtained in advance through Banff Lake Louise Tourism.
Airport Car Rental
Many car rental providers operate out of the Calgary International Airport (Avis, Budget, Enterprise, National, etc.).
Airport Shuttle
Airport shuttles are available via Pursuit from the Calgary International Airport to the Royal Canadian Lodge in Banff with regularly scheduled service. Reservations are required at least 1 hour in advance. Schedules and rates are subject to change without notice.

Additional Accommodations
The conference venue is a 5-minute drive from the town centre, where most of the hotels in Banff are located. Downtown Banff offers a variety of 3* and 4* hotels along the main street, Banff Avenue. We have arranged special rates with a selection of hotels in close proximity to the conference venue. While delegates are welcome to rent cars and drive to and from the venue, they can also take public transportation that drops them within a 14-minute (one-kilometre) walk of the venue.
Please note that the special rates are subject to hotel room availability, and rooms may not be available at any given time. If you need to modify or cancel your existing reservation, kindly contact the hotel you booked with.
