RBC Fast Pitch Competition

Eligibility

  • All members of your team must be from your ENTI 317 or 201 class team from the 2023/2 school year, beginning in May 2023.
  • Teams must list all of the members of your group, even those that do not intend to enter the competition. Team members that will not continue must indicate that they are not continuing with the RBC Fast Pitch. The Hunter Centre will follow up with each team to gain a copy of their charter.
  • All submitted materials must be original work from the participating team.
  • Your Go Forward team will begin after the RBC Fast Pitch Competition, so all members of a team are eligible to apply. 

Legal

  • By submitting an entry, the team and its individual members are indicating that the entry does not infringe on the proprietary or other rights of others.
  • It is the entrant’s responsibility to be aware of the separate terms and conditions of the external platforms, including AwardForce, YouTube, and Zoom, which are used throughout the application process.

Entry materials and deadlines

  • Spring and Fall teams must enter by the Fall deadline (Dec. 17th, 2023) and all Winter teams must enter by the Winter deadline (Apr. 14th, 2024).
  • You can create a new video (different from your course video), but all videos must be less than 5 minutes in length. Anything longer than 5 minutes is not eligible for the competition.

Finalists

  • Once you have become a semi-finalist, all team members must complete a follow-up meeting with the Hunter Centre to learn the details of the process for
    1. the semi-final session on the morning of April 25th
    2. the RBC Fast Pitch Finals on the afternoon of April 25th
  • Finalists will deliver a brief summary presentation for the RBC Fast Pitch Winner event. Details on the format will be released closer to the date. All team members must be present during this presentation.
