Case competitions

Pivot on Purpose Student Case Competition 2021 is an opportunity for students to learn how to apply business skills, knowledge and the power of markets to pressing social problems – using a real organization to learn from. There is no cost to enter and there is an opportunity for the top three teams to earn a combined prize of $10,000! The student case competition is open to teams with at least one student registered at a post-secondary institution, the rest of the team may include recent graduates. Registration closes November 7, 2021. Competition takes place virtually on November 20, 2021. Learn more and register.

 

Compete4Good Case Competition 2021. A 24-hour case-based competition with the case provided by Enterprise4Good. Open to teams of four, undergraduate and graduate university students are eligible. Registration fee is $60 per team. The prizes are: 1st place $2,000, 2nd place $1,000 and 3rd place $500. This competition took place on May 8, 2021. See you next year!

Student awards

Student social entrepreneurs are eligible for the NU National Student Social Entrepreneurship Award which offers $25,000 to the winning venture. Applications for the NU National Award is now closed.
