Financial Data Software
Currently the Lab supports three data management software products, Bloomberg Terminal, Factset and S&P CapitalIQ. Financial data management software is generously supported by Mawer Investment Management. The Lab also benefits from a generous data sponsorship from Databento.
Bloomberg
The Bloomberg terminal is used through out the finance industry. It has a very rich data set (perhaps the best) but the terminal has a very steep learning curve.

Factset
Like Bloomberg Factset is data rich. The user interface is more modern than Bloomberg's.

S&P CapitalIQ
S&P CapitalIQ has perhaps some of the best industry corporate financial data and very good corporate governance data.

Databento
Databento offers unparalleled access to real-time financial market data through its state of the art Application Programming Interface (API), designed for speed and efficiency. Its customizable data feeds and robust analytics tools enable high-frequency traders to develop and refine complex trading algorithms, maximizing their competitive edge in the market.
