Minerva-UCalgary Learning Forum

Thursday, April 23, 2026

The Minerva-UCalgary Learning Forum is a one-day event focused on safety education and practice. Minerva Canada, a non-profit volunteer-run organization, aims to be a global leader in health and safety management education by influencing the curriculum of post-secondary institutions to ensure that future engineers and business leaders create healthier and safer workplaces. This Learning Forum will bring together researchers, educators, students, safety professionals, and industry leaders. The program will feature an industry spotlight, a practice-focused keynote, research-to-practice presentations, safety education presentations, and an interactive session applying research to real scenarios, all of which will help move evidence from research into classrooms and workplaces. There will be time for connecting with other attendees and speakers throughout the day, and lunch will be provided.
