The Haskayne Full-time MBA is an immersive pathway designed for professionals ready to fully invest in the next stage of their careers. Beginning each fall, the pathway is completed over 16 months through an intensive schedule of 16 courses – requiring a commitment of approximately 40 hours per week. 

Learning extends beyond coursework. Through hands-on learning and direct engagement with Calgary's business community, you'll apply business concepts to real-world challenges while building practical leadership capabilities.

Sample schedule*

Starting in Fall 2027, our Full-time MBA will offer a more focused path to your goals. Earn your MBA in just 16 courses (three-unit equivalent), completed over 16 months.

Your first two semesters are concentrated. More than half of your coursework will be completed in the first eight months of this pathway. 

Use the spring semester to explore an elective that aligns with your goals. An optional MBA Internship Program over the Spring/Summer provides real-world business experience, opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings, enhance your professional network and develop essential business skills. 

Your final semester features evening, weekend and asynchronous online classes that allow you the option to work while you complete your degree.

Can the Full-time MBA pathway be part time?

The first two semesters of the 16-month Full-time MBA are designed to be intensive, allowing you to graduate faster. However, the spring/summer and second year of this pathway features a lighter course load, making the schedule much more flexible.

What is the typical makeup of the class?

The typical class has a 3.49 GPA, 6.8 years of average work experience and a gender split of 47.5 per cent male and 52.5 per cent female.
