Remove barriers to education
Calgary is one of Canada’s most dynamic, diverse and enterprising cities – situated to be an attractive home for the next generation of business leaders.
Calgary’s future depends on our ability to develop the next generation of leaders and innovators. We must attract and retain top talent to continue to lead in innovation and entrepreneurship and to drive a competitive, inclusive and sustainable economy.
Diversity in the workforce plays just as vital of a role in accelerating our economy and securing our position as a world-class city as innovation, technology and entrepreneurship does. Diversity in business and leadership enriches society, and as a leading Canadian business school, Haskayne is committed to helping ensure workplaces, boardrooms and C-suites are equitable for all. Talent, drive and ambition and the opportunities they afford should precede financial circumstances and social privilege.
At Haskayne, we want to make access to education easier and grant equal opportunities to equity deserving groups. We want to ensure those who are passionate in pursuing business education have access to top tier resources and supports, so they actively choose Haskayne for their academic studies.
"The Fletcher Family Master of Management Graduate Scholarship provided financial support while I completed my Master of Management degree. I will be forever grateful for this scholarship; I truly do not think I would have been able to have the same experience otherwise. Thank you!”

Empower dreams and open doors to higher education
Our goal is to provide $1 million in scholarships annually for Haskayne graduate students in our Master of Management, MBA and Executive MBA programs. This will allow Haskayne to remain competitive in the business education landscape by enticing talented and motivated students to choose our school as their preferred business school of choice. In turn, we can create a brighter future for Calgary by building a talent pipeline of future leaders who are eager to learn, grow and contribute to accelerating our economy and bettering our communities.
Our key priorities for our scholarship program are to:
- Support Calgary’s economic growth trajectory by attracting and retaining top talent to cultivate a robust future-ready workforce.
- Inspire people who are underrepresented in business to pursue a graduate degree by helping to remove barriers to opportunity. Equity deserving groups include women, Indigenous students, new Canadians, LGBTQ2S+, visible minorities and people with disabilities.
