Our Haskayne Career Development Specialists are available to help you with interview preparation, résumé and cover letter review, and job search strategies. They will also help you with identifying your skills, interests and abilities, and possible career options.

How to book an appointment online

Log in to your Haskayne CareerLink account, select "HSB Advising Appointments" and follow the instructions. The online tool allows you to book a 30-minute one-on-one appointment with one of our Career Development Specialists for help with:

  • Exploration of skills, interests & abilities to help identify different career paths
  • Career options
  • Job search strategies and networking
  • Transferable skills and competencies
  • Interview preparations
  • Résumé and cover letter review

E-Résumé Review

E-résumé review is available to students within one year of graduation. If you would like your résumé reviewed quickly and sent back with suggested revisions and comments, please send your résumé in Word doc format and completed checklist to

Attach to the email:

  • A copy of your résumé in .doc or .docx format so we can provide edits and comments

Co-operative Education Program

The BComm Co-operative Education Program (Co-op) lets you develop career-related experience before you graduate. You earn practical experience, develop a network of business contacts, and gain a better understanding of different career options in your field.

You must be a student in the Haskayne, Bachelor of Commerce (BCOMM) degree program to be eligible to apply to the Haskayne Co-op program.

Co-op applications from Haskayne BComm students are accepted twice a year - please watch your inbox for specific dates.  Co-op information sessions are also offered in the Fall and Winter terms (register via CareerLink). Transfer students should connect with the BComm program office to determine Co-op eligibility.
