Delivered in partnership with the Rozsa Foundation, the Foundations of Arts Leadership Program is designed to provide leadership development opportunities for arts managers and leaders across Alberta, strengthening leadership capacity and supporting a more resilient, and connected arts community.

The Foundations of Arts Leadership program, formerly the Rozsa Arts Management Program, empowers current and emerging arts leaders with the practical skills and strategic perspective needed to lead with confidence. Designed specifically for Alberta's creative sector, this cohort-based program blends collaborative learning with real-world application, enabling participants to tackle meaningful challenges within their organizations.
Facilitated by Haskayne faculty and experienced arts and non-profit professionals, the program explores core leadership and management disciplines, including strategy, governance, financial literacy, organizational branding, advocacy, and team development. Participants leave with practical tools, valuable peer connections, and the confidence to create lasting impact within their organizations and communities.
Arts professionals with 3+ years of experience from all disciplines and roles including (but not limited to):
- Program administrators
