Alberta Haskayne Executive MBA program ranks among the world's best
Two international rankings released in the last month place the Alberta Haskayne Executive MBA (EMBA) program among the world’s very best.
Released on Oct. 19, the Financial Times Top 100 worldwide ranking puts the joint program offered by Haskayne and the University of Alberta at No. 91. Only five Canadian business schools made the list and the program has been consistently ranked by the Financial Times for over a decade.
On Nov. 11, New York-based Ivy Exec Inc. released its inaugural Best Joint Executive MBA programs and ranked the Alberta Haskayne Executive MBA in its exclusive top-20, with a spot at No. 18.
This ranking of over 300 programs worldwide included a comprehensive survey that looked at reputation, career advancement, globalness and life balance.
“It’s an honour to be among the world’s top programs and this speaks to the very high quality of our Executive MBA,” said Vern Jones, associate dean, academic. “The program attracts top candidates who want to advance their careers through the unique experience of our Executive MBA."
The Haskayne Executive MBA features an executive speaker series, executive coaching and an international study tour. This year, for the first time, a second cohort in the same academic year will be launched because of unprecedented demand.
The program is designed for experienced professionals to develop their leadership skills and has a strong focus on innovation, critical thinking and the entrepreneurial perspective. A new finance concentration is now available within the EMBA program in addition to general management.
