D2L Walkthrough
Welcome from the Haskayne Teaching & Learning Team
This D2L walkthrough is a workflow — follow the topics in sequence and you will be building out your D2L shell as you go. While the content does not cover all of what D2L can do, it covers the essentials. For more/different help with D2L, please go to the UCalgary elearn website.
Before starting, you must have your approved course outline ready at hand. Look for other related requirements per topic.
Please complete the workflow in the order presented.
Success with subsequent tasks is dependent on completing former tasks.
- Gradebook Setup
- Create Dropboxes
- Create Quizzes
- Add Content
- Create Groups
The content for each task contains video/document resources that step you through the process. There is a companion file for each video that lists a detailed time track (c/w segment topic titles), important Haskayne-related advice, and follow-up link(s). As you watch a video, please open and reference its companion file.
