  1. HKCBA National Investment Pitch Competition

The purpose of the Hong Kong – Canada Investment Pitch Competition is to provide students enrolled in post-secondary business programs across Canada with a tangible opportunity to showcase their business idea to a panel of professionals.

If you have been working on a business idea that connects Canada to Hong Kong or leverages the "Canada - Hong Kong" advantage to conduct business between Canada and other parts of Asia, this is your chance to get in the running for prizes valued around $50,000 including:

    • Cash prizes and seed money to put towards your business idea
    • Consulting services to help get your business from concept to market
    • Trip for two to Hong Kong to attend the 2018 Hong Kong Forum

  2. Rice Business Plan Competition

The world’s largest and richest student startup competition! More than $1 million will be awarded!

Every startup accepted to compete is guaranteed to win prize money!

  3. Venture Capital Investment Competition

Spanning Europe, Asia and the US, 78 MBA schools around the world compete for the venture capital investment honours. Students are judged on their ability to evaluate and work with real entrepreneurial firms and are judged by VC from the Canadian industry.

VCIC differs from a business plan competition. It is a role-playing competition in which MBAs get to be VCs for the day. Students play the role of VCs in a $100M fund.  Throughout the day, five-person teams will hear pitches from entrepreneurs, develop term sheets, and pitch investment strategies to VC judges from across Canada.
