Creative Descruction Lab Rockies

Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) Rockies is a unique milestone-based mentoring program for massively scalable science-based companies. Initially started in 2012 at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, CDL-Rockies is an extension of the program within the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business.

This nine-month program is laser-focused to accelerate business growth. A group of carefully selected and highly successful entrepreneurs and angel investors (CDL Fellows and Associates) work with founders to break down complex business challenges and define high priority, measureable objectives that are achieved in 8-week sprints. Through mentorship and financing opportunities, the CDL helps innovators transition their ideas from technology and science projects to high-growth companies.

Unlike many programs, the CDL members actually roll up their sleeves. Not only contributing time and judgment, the mentors also contribute their vast network. They can open doors for young people. This is huge.
