The Lingering Impacts of Working From Home on the Future of Real Estate

The Westman Centre for Real Estate Studies is pleased to announce a new discussion series, Future of Real Estate, where academia and industry converge to provide useful news and dissect the latest trends shaping our industry. Our first edition will assess the lingering impacts of working from home on the future of real estate.

The prevalence of remote work exploded at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the nation continues moving toward a “return to normal,” what have we learned about working from home, and how will these trends continue to influence the real estate industry?

Immersive session

The event will showcase the extensive research and data collected through the work-from-home and return-to-office movements that have impacted real estate since the start of the pandemic.

Look beyond the typical, anecdotal stories about the trends and learn what the data actually shows – will work from home stick or fade away? Who works from home now? How does where you work affect employee satisfaction and retention, and what does this all mean for real estate?
