Marketing is essential to the success of any real estate development project. Review the role that marketing plays at each step in the development process. Gain an understanding of changing real estate markets and learn how to: utilize market research information, develop, and manage a marketing program, create unique project identities, and undertake an effective advertising and communications program. Learn from case studies, active project examples, and industry guest speakers from across Canada.

Participants who attend this course will learn to:

  • Gain an understanding of the marketing process specific to the real estate industry. 
  • Gather research insights to inform decisions regarding product mix, pricing, market segmentation and competitive differentiation.
  • Identify different buyer groups and their motivations. 
  • Develop brand positioning and marketing messages.
  • User marketing methodologies, process, tools and tactics to bring a real estate development project to market.
  • Engage a garner support from community stakeholders and partners. 

Participants come from a variety of fields including real estate development, banking, government, architecture, planning and engineering. The program is aimed for those who aspire to work in field of real estate development, expand understanding of the development process, and benefit from local expertise, perspectives and gain hands-on experience.
