Paper submission | Cultivating Respect in Organizations: A Research Workshop


This workshop is aimed at developing a research paper toward publication. Your submission must not have been accepted/published in an academic journal to be considered for acceptance to the workshop.

Submissions should focus on research related to the topic of respect & belonging in the workplace. If you are unsure whether your paper fits the topic and are interested in submitting, please email hsbresearch@ucalgary.ca with questions. 

Paper submissions must follow APA guidelines, and your submission package (word or pdf) must include one of the following:

Full paper

  1. A paper (max 30 double-spaced pages excluding tables, figures, title page, references, and abstract)
  2. An abstract of max 200 words and up to 5 keywords
  3. A title page that identifies co-authors with affiliations

Detailed abstract

  1. A detailed abstract (5 pages) sufficiently outlining your research and methods. You may also include up to 5 keywords. Abstract submissions will only be accepted on the condition that a complete paper be submitted by September 5, 2025 at 5:00 P.M. MST.
  2. A title page that identifies co-authors with affiliations

Submission deadline: Friday, August 8, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time
