As part of the co-op application, you are required to include a current résumé. (NOTE: If you have already received a final grade of B or higher in SGMA 303, you do not need to submit your VMock scores; we will review your resume only for previous work/volunteer experience; you can use the resume submitted for class assignment(s).) A current résumé should include the following:

  • Previous education
  • Awards and scholarships
  • Work experience
  • Extracurricular activities (volunteer experience, leadership roles, club memberships, sports, hobbies, etc.)

  • I HAVE READ the Co-operative Education/Internship Program information in the Haskayne School of Business section of the Calendar, and I agree, if admitted to the Co-operative Education Program, to comply with the rules, regulations, and responsibilities applicable to a Co-op student.
  • I GIVE PERMISSION to the Haskayne School of Business to make my university grade point average, my transcripts including my student number and my résumé available to prospective employers.
  • I UNDERSTAND that acceptance to the Co-operative Education Program is not a guarantee of a work placement.
  • I CERTIFY that I have not applied to another Co-operative Education Program in another faculty.
  • I UNDERSTAND that the Co-operative Education Program will likely extend my degree program by at least one semester.
  • I UNDERSTAND THAT ADMITTED STUDENTS PAY A NONREFUNDABLE ADMISSION FEE OF $50. The fee will be billed through my University of Calgary Student Centre.
  • I UNDERSTAND THAT if ADMITTED, I will need to read, accept, and sign a Co-op agreement contract.
