Biography

Kaixuan Zhang is a third-year accounting Ph.D. student at the University of Calgary. His current research interest is intangible assets. Specifically, he is working on the utilization efficiency of intangible vs physical assets. He received his bachelor's and master’s degree in accounting from Iowa State University. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, he was a Certified Public Accountant and worked at a public accounting firm specialized in tax and audit in Des Moines, Iowa for two years.
